As the sole product designer, I led the end to end design of PartyPlace’s business facing reservation operating system, reimagining the core workflow to help resturants and bar managers review, respond to, and communicate about booking requests. Recognizing that the main user of PartyPlace are owners from NYC’s neighborhood bars, who are less tech-savvy, I intentionally designed for clarity, emphasizing visible affordances, clear status states, and guided actions over implicit or dense interaction models.
As part of a small, agile team, I had the opportunity to lay the foundation for PartyPlace’s operating system by establishing core interaction patterns and visual standards used across future workflows, while also refining the design-to-development collaboration process.
