OVERVIEW & IMPACT

Justworkshelps SMBs and entrepreneurs grow with confidence through managing their employees and operations such as payroll and benefits.

On the Benefit team, I led a strategic redesign to unify fragmented insurance benefit flows across multiple products into one shared experience, enableing 200k+ SMB employees to easily maintain benefit coverage during qualifying life events (aka. QLE) by introducing a more structured, step-by-step flow that better guided users through complex decisions, while strengthening experience as a core differentiator as Justworks transition to a multi-product platform.

IMPACT
Identified and resolved the product’s legacy system level constraints (eligibility logic, compliance requirement, etc.) through independent research. Delivered dev-ready file, streamlining experience unification across two product lines of JW’s ecosystem; Improved user retention, reduce support tickets and Ops work lift by 15%.
