As the sole product designer, I led the end to end design and product strategy of PartyPlace’s business facing reservation operating system, reimagining the core workflow for bar owners to review, respond and communicate with end customers. Recognizing that the main user are owners from NYC’s neighborhood bars, who are less tech-savvy, I designed for clarity, emphasizing visible affordances, clear status states, and guided actions over implicit or dense interaction models. In addition, I established core interaction patterns and visual standards while also refined the design-to-development collaboration process.
IMPACT
Increased dashboard usage by 4x; Reduced passive cancellation rate by 30%; Supported new venue partnership growth and seed fundraising.
